    Procurement guidance

How should the specification be read?

Available sizes come from the confirmed 20 cm and 30 cm series. Material, size, GSM, texture, fold, count, pouch, artwork, and printing must be approved as one specification.

    Material, GSM, texture, and size

Material options include 100% Viscose, 100% Cotton, Viscose / Polyester, and Viscose / Lyocell. Exact blend ratios and the final specification are confirmed per project. Confirm the selected material's compatibility with the selected size, GSM, texture, fold, and pouch. The material choice changes which environmental wording can be used.

    Packaging and private label

The pouch uses a press-to-close zipper and can be closed again after opening. Towels are quarter-folded or sixth-folded, non-interfolded, and not designed for pop-up dispensing.

What can be discussed for this project?

    • Material, dimensions, GSM, texture, color, and fold, subject to compatibility review
    • Unit pack, unit count, inner pack, carton, and shipping marks
    • Private-label artwork, printing, label, barcode, and carton information
Review the OEM and private-label process

What should the quote request include?

    • Destination market, sales channel, and intended use
    • Order quantity and estimated annual volume
    • Material, unfolded dimensions, GSM, texture, color, and fold
    • Unit count, unit pack, inner pack, and carton requirements
    • Artwork, label, barcode, shipping marks, and required documents

How is a project specification confirmed?

Each stage uses the current written requirements. Production starts from the approved specification, sample, and packaging artwork, not from a web-page range alone.

    1. Step 1Requirement review
    2. Step 2Specification recommendation
    3. Step 3Sampling quotation
    4. Step 4Sample approval
    5. Step 5Packaging approval
    6. Step 6Production
    7. Step 7Shipment

    Which environmental wording applies?

    Material claim boundary

Cotton, viscose and Lyocell are biodegradable materials, so the claim depends on the final composition. A towel body made solely of 100% Viscose, 100% Cotton, or Viscose / Lyocell is biodegradable, confirmed with the final written specification and supporting documentation; this excludes packaging. Viscose / Polyester blends are not described as 100% biodegradable. No fixed degradation time is claimed.

    Towel-body claim boundary

A compostable description may be discussed only after the final written specification confirms a 100% Viscose towel body, under suitable composting conditions and subject to local facilities and regulations; packaging, labels, adhesives, and non-viscose parts are excluded. It does not apply automatically to the Cotton, Viscose / Polyester, or Viscose / Lyocell options.

Frequently asked questions about Disposable Face Towels — Travel Pack

The count is customizable. Packs of 5–10 pieces are common, but this is not a fixed count. Jaroll confirms the final count and pouch dimensions per project.

Yes. The confirmed format uses a resealable press-to-close zipper pouch. The pouch function does not mean the towels use pop-up dispensing.

No. Quarter-fold and sixth-fold formats can be discussed. The towels are non-interfolded and are not designed for pop-up dispensing.

Based on our production experience with towels of the same GSM, cotton has a more textured feel and the highest cost. Viscose feels smoother and softer than cotton. Lyocell feels firmer; its absorbency and lint shedding are similar to viscose. Polyester feels soft and costs less, but absorbs less and is prone to lint shedding. In viscose/polyester blends, increasing the polyester content generally lowers cost and absorbency while making surface fuzzing more likely. The final feel and performance also depend on the blend ratio and spunlace process, so we recommend comparing approved samples before choosing a material.

Provide the pouch structure, pack count, brand artwork, printed information, label, barcode, destination market, channel, quantity, and any required claim or document for review.

We can provide a few pieces to a few dozen, depending on the products you’d like to try. The samples are free, but courier charges apply and can be relatively high even for a small shipment. Let us know which products and quantities you need, and we’ll confirm the shipping cost so you can decide before we send them.

What changed: Clarified packaging: the 30 cm series uses quarter-folded towels in boxes and cannot use pop-up dispensing; 20 cm pop-up bags and resealable, non-interfolded travel packs are separate formats. Material options and the same-GSM fiber comparison remain unchanged.
